About me + how It's in the Details came to be.
Greetings! I'm Nita Cintron, CEO and founder of It's in the Details. I'm a true Southern girl living her best life in San Diego, California. Wanderlust is my middle name; my passport has stamps from all over the world.

I love visualizing all things beautiful and finding inspiration wherever I go. My artistic side allows me to add exclusive "extras" to everything I plan and design. And I am a firm believer that champagne goes with everything, especially truffle fries.

I am a graduate of San Diego State University (SDSU - go Aztecs!) and I hold a professional certificate in Meeting and Event Planning. I am also a graduate of the San Diego Tourism Authority's Inaugural Tourism Accelerator program and of the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women: Black in Business program. Additionally, I am a lead for San Diego Sister Cities Project (SCP) Eco-Hub Community, and on the San Diego Women in Tourism & Hospitality (W.I.T.H.) Planning Committee. I have been featured in SDVoyager Magazine, and I am a certified San Diego Destination Specialist.
